Indonesia is a unitary state which has a water area larger than the land area. So that in carrying out activities in the life of the nation and state in various fields, the territorial waters become a means of connecting. The continuity of activities or activities in Indonesian waters requires awareness from the surrounding community about the importance of safety and assistance in water, which for now has not become a priority in its implementation. One of the spearheads in the implementation of Search and Rescue (SAR) is the police. Marine operations SAR training is carried out in this activity considering that most of Indonesia’s territory is sea. The purpose of the service activity is to introduce basic diving skills and the dangers of diving and the procedures for minimizing the dangers caused. The service participants are police academy cadets who are candidates for spearheading to protect the community. The activity was carried out in two stages, namely room training and field practice. The implementation of community service went smoothly and the enthusiasm of the cadets regarding this material was high. The cadets understand more about basic level diving techniques and the tools used. The introduction of basic tools and diving techniques aims to reduce the risk of damage or other hazards when diving, so that the safety of divers is guaranteed. This service activity is expected to add insight for cadets so that one day the community needs the help of the police ready to help and the safety of personnel can be guaranteed.
